They were being fed on wet food all the time, I have softened kitten biscuits which I intend to let them have access to all the time, is this ok???

Awwww! I want Sam!! I can see they're getting properly socialized with you, Elaine and Erin to cuddle and play with them! Wish I could.....
The way you are all going I will have homes for them all....;) .
Maggie has the longer fur, she is like a ball of cotton wool, and a real little tub too...!

What's their story, Moli? Why are they in foster care? (Hope I didn't miss a thread)
They were coming into the CP once they were weaned, but the stupid owners let mum out and she was killed on the road when they were 3 weeks, they managed to wean them, but then decided to go on Holiday!!!Leaving them with a neighbour to feed, meaning they were in a cage 24/7, with no socialization at all.....So the CP made arrangement for them to be handed over yesterday, and asked me to have them...

it never ends does it? Stupid, stupid people!!! The kittens are adorable Moli, and I'm sure you'll find them all fab homes.
It amazes me Alex how anyone can be so stupid!!!!4 little lives, and they did not give a dam!!!!

We've had loads of calls this week for peope wanting to get rid of their cats because there's a new baby on the way :evil: I have got 3 here with me, all in rescue from the same home because there's a baby coming. What amazes me is the one cat is only 8 months old :roll: They are all gorgous too! :( :(

Sad as it was, it might have been a blessing in disguise for the mum cat...wasn't spayed, would probably have had litter after litter of little neglected kittens..I just cannot understand people like those "owners" .....
Thanks Smudgley, just wanted to make sure dry was ok for them....5weeks old is new to me...
I just cannot understand how anyone can just more or less throw them out....They were responsible for them being here, surely they would do the best for them!!!
Seemingly this is the time of the year when out CP branch is full of kittens....!!!
They are lovely but howcome may I ask did Yola get a kitten named after her? ;)
Only jesting they are gorgeous, and have you a key to my heart calling the tabby Sam....................?
I did not realise the scale of the problem till I joined Catsey, and volunteered to foster, some of the stories are just heartbreaking!!!

Our branch is full too Moli, but for some reason we have also had a high number of kitten deaths this year. It's so very sad. I currently have a mum and 4 kittens in. Mum was only a year old (apparently. I think she is younger) Drives me mad.

They are gorgeous - I have a special place in my heart for short haired tabbies - what beautiful babies. Heart-rending story. Their poor poor mum.
I absolutely love Tabbies......My first cat was a gorgeous Tabby called Toby...He was one very special boy...

As the CP lady said to me today, for everyone that is rehomed, there are another 10 waiting...:( :(
I totaly agree Tabbies are what I think of when I think "cat" one of the reasons I think was Puss...my Nan's cat a tabby who always slept on my grandad's chair, and on his lap when he sat on the chair.
These have black stripes, lovely markings...sure they will find new homes no bother.....

What a lovely idea, Moli! I'm all for it! What a nice tribute that would be to our lost but never forgotten ones.....:D
