Have you got any of these lurking in your garden?

I've got a rhodendron.....I wouldn't have called that an alien plant. Did have montbretia at one time too....

Just goes to show how many plants we have that should not be there.....

I have the buddleia - bees and butterflies love it, but you do have to watch out for it seeding about and it is a b***** to get the roots out and I am afraid we do have some knotweed too - I hear that there is a new control for that, but the plant is in a bit of a tricky place to get at and I need to lose quite a bit of weight before I can squeeze down the gap to get to it!

That's a big problem here in the States....too many invasive non-native plants to mention!

Montbretia invasive? I love it but it doesn't do well here, at least for me.....

There was a report on the news tonight, seemingly they have discovered a sap sucking insect that gets rid of knotweed....
