Do you remember the tower I bought late on, and planted up, its looking really good, the big one is ruined...some of my Tubs are still going, although I have taken quite a lot out of them...

They look lovely. I still have a hydrangea in flower (blue) and some crocosmia, lucifer. ALmost everything else ruined with wind and rain.

Garden stil in planning stage so hope eventually will be able to make some sheltered pockets.

Those are lovely, Moli! Such a vivid color in the hydrangea; your soil must be quite alkaline to get that shade.

CM. my crocosmias haven't bloomed so far this year.....??

Mine have been out about two weeks now and are still doing well. Interestingly they were a bit later last year. Are yours later than usual?

I also have a clematis 'Etoile violette' in flower. Keep forgetting about it as it is on a trellis hiding behind some dogswood which has got a bit out of hand and needs to be chopped.

Much later than usual; no signs of flower spikes. We had an unusually dry August, wonder if that might be it. My sweet Autumn clematis has just started, and it's earlier than normal...a funny year in the garden!

I have 3 altogether. Two are blue and on is very unusual lacecap cream with varigated leaves. I inherited it and it is a bit poorly - needing some tlc. No idea what variety it is.
