I'm going to be spoiling Beauty on the 12th! Anyone got any ideas for safe treats she can have? (I daren't give her her normal treats because of her kidneys)

Will tuna and something else be OK (the tuna is in spring water)

When Merlin has been poorly, I poached a chicken breast for him in plain water (don't add anything) - just let it gently poach for about 20 mins, then let it cool and hand feed. Surprisingly, it tastes quite good (to my taste) and he ate it, for which I was very grateful. I used to do the same with white fish - only did not poach it as long - just long enough for the fish to be cooked through. He was also quite keen to drink a little bit of the cooking water for both the chicken and the fish. I don't see how either of those things could hurt Beauty.

So chicken and fish are still OK! I didn't think fish would do any harm, wasn't sure about the salt content of chicken though.

I am not sure about natural salt content of chicken. Don't add any at all .......

I never add salt to anything! I think food has enough salt in it without adding any!
