Inspired by Kazz's Caviar thread...have any of you eaten frogs legs? Did you like them?
Yuk.......no!!!!!!!! That sounds worse than caviar!!
Not me never been able to catch them..........sorry.......No I haven't Dave has though when in France and said they were nice. I think he said like chicken..............but he says everything different tastes like chicken.
I wouldn't have thought there was enough meat on a frogs leg to eat them...Personally, no way could I eat them....

I have, reminded me of chicken just less meat on the bones :p
They're yummy! Sorry folks, just had to tell you that! They do actually taste of chicken!
Did you know that the vast majority of frogs' legs eaten in France have been imported from China?

Good grief, didn't know that! I'd heard that about tasting like chicken; don't think I could bring myself to try them; that's one of those things like brains that I cannot imagine eating.....
It's only the fat bit at the top that you eat, DM the thigh. "cuisses de grenouille"
Ohh I've eaten brains brains on toast lovely.....honestly my Dad used to have that....it really was nice....don't see it about now.........I would eat Frogs legs......they are not common garden frogs though are they?????

Haven't a clue; but would suspect they were a large breed of frog like our bullfrogs.........
I did once when I was about 17. Can't remember what they tasted like. I would never eat them now though, but then I don't eat any meat now!
Nope, not frogs legs. I couldn't :( But I have eaten snails a lot in the 80s and mussels up to about 5 years ago. Neither would pass my lips now. Major yuk!

I love mussels! Tried snails once under peer pressure; OK, but wouldn't eat again.....
Oysters, no..... fried are passable but raw? NO!
Definite NO to oysters. Again, in the 80s my ex-h persuaded me to try one (raw) and I had to spit it out and run for the bathroom.
