My crepe myrtle shrub...they're very common here in Washington and the area...

Acidanthera...I put these bulbs in this Spring. This is also called Abysinnian glad, and is very fragrant....

And the agapanthus (Blue Lily of the Nile). I love blue flowers; this is very vivid blue!

Lovely colours Eileen............ the Acidanthera is beautiful and delicate looking.

Great to see your blue agapanthus........ the flower heads are just beginning to open on my white one..:D

I'm also keen on the Acidanthera, Eileen. Very delicate looking. And my white agapanthus (es or ii?) are also just coming out!

Thanks! The acidanthera blooms later than the hardy glads, had them all in a bed together but didn't get the effect I'd planned on. But I do like them, and they're supposed to overwinter in my climate zone so won't have to dig this Autumn. The leaves are like glads.
