:roll: I have just noticed I have bought senior food by mistake.....Denis is only 4 would it matter if he has already eaten two sachets???? :?

Don't know, but wouldn't think it would do him any harm - he's a brave cat to eat it! Merlin was on it for a while, but found it so hard in texture and now had ordinary adult food. Seems to agree with him.

I can't see how it might be bad for him, it probably has a different mixture of ingredients etc. geared more for a senior cat's dietary needs.. If it bothers you, rather than waste it why not just mix a bit of it in with what he usually eats till it's used up?

Dont worry BC, he'll be fine. It wont do him any harm, most senior foods are lower in protein and phospherous but many are not considerably lower. A problem would only arise if he were fed senior foods on a regular basis.

As Eileen says, dont waste it, just mix it with his normal foods or give it to him occasionally until its used up.

Thanks everyone. He woofed it!!!! Ususally leaves a lot of food in this weather too. I will just mix it in I think
