My 6 year female cat has been drooling like crazy since I came home from work tonight. Seems to feel ok. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong?
Thanks.

Have you checked her teeth? If she has a build up of plaque or maybe a dodgy tooth, that might account for it.

Hope she's OK now anyway.

I agree with Grete, I would get the vet to check out her teeth and gums for any inflamation or bad tooth.

Another thought, if she is an outdoor cat and hunts, it may be that she has caught an eaten something and has a small bone or likewise stuck in a tooth..

Welcome to Catsey too! :D

One of my boys drool, and we discovered it is because he has lost 2 front teeth...

Thank you all for your responses and welcome. Misty and her brother, Max, are indoor cats. They've never been outside.
I did guess that it might be a tooth and tried to look but she was not cooperating. She has an appointment at the Vet this afternoon. Will let you know what I find out.
Thanks again.

Welcome to Catsey! Do let us know what the vet says about Misty; hope it's not serious.
