Update.
Holly, my sisters dog. She is wonderful, the best behaved dog and really loving too.

This weekends work, two cockateils, Harvey and Nix. Harvey loves to sit on my hand and bite at my rings. Nix wants to be beside you but not so much on you. Lovely birds.

It is nice, isnt it.
They are very friendly birds. Took me about 10 minutes to catch them and put them back into their cage. Thought it was gonna take me alot longer than that:lol: They really weren't a problem at all.

Zeke is a Doberman. He is still a pup really, 11 months old, dominant, smart and very strong. The owners are working very hard with him as he has a fixation on bicycles right now. Their last dog trainer didnt beleive in dominance so they are looking for another trainer to help them take control.

Only walked one basset today, Hamish, as Homer has hurt his hind leg and has to rest for 3 weeks. That said, he tried to jump all over me when he saw me:? . Hamish really reminds me so much in the basset we had as children.
Things are certainly picking up, got a call from a guy who used to come into the pet shop asking me to walk his two staffies, Buster and Tara. Going to see them this weekend.

Really pleased it's all taking off for you Elaine, you have some lovely clients there :)

Having had my first experience of a petsitter last weekend, it was amazing the difference in my stress levels (and the girls) not having to worry about them and that they were calm and relaxed and not too huffy when we got back. Will definately be using her again.

I do like Dale - is he a young'un?

Elaine
29-08-2008, 02:10 PM
He's 4 months Angie. Have been doing little bits in the garden with him, walking to heal, sit and stay etc. Just a few minutes at a time coz puppies get easily distracted what with flies to chase and stones to collect:-D :-D :-D
He's a treat though.;)

That's a nice garden for him to play in and get a bit of training at the same time......... I am sensing that you are enjoying your job, Elaine...:D
