Meggy has cysitus

We had to take Meggy to the Vets today, confimed as I had thought - she has Cysitus.

Last night she tried and tried to go a wee in every one of the litter trays but just couldnt :(

She seems in no pain - phew, but was losing a little blood from straining.

A weeks course of antibiotics :lol: for my little one, thats gonna fun lol trying to get tablets down her throat, she also had a anti infamitary injection.

I hope you will find Julie, as I did when Merlin had cystitus that the anti-inflammatory and anti-biotics work really quickly and she should be able to wee fairly soon. Good luck with pilling!

When Leia had her one and only spell of cystitis she was put on ABs first; as it turned out to be inflamation rather than infection she was changed to anti-inflamatory liquid, which cleared it up amazingly fast. Thank heavens, as getting the medicine in her was almost impossible!
