Well we are now in the 6th week since Fabes was in the hospital and he is doing really well!!

He has put on more weight (now 3.6 kilos), calcium and PCV levels normal, kidney levels still a bit on the high side but nothing to overly worry about.:-P

He is really bright, fur is finally growing and eating his chicken ;)

Here's a piccie of him on his new toy (excuse the mess it was pre tidy up!!)

My vet is going to speak to the hospital tomorrow to see if his medication can be reduced - especially the steroids. Here's hoping.........

Glad Fabes is improving. He certainly looks like he is enjoying his new fat boy scratching post. Give him a big hug from Auntie Kay and the Tilsie gang.

Fabes is still doing really well and he had some bloods done on Thursday so just waiting for the results. His PCV levels are still really good though.

He's gorgeous CS, fingers crossed for his blood results but am very pleased to hear that his PCV is still good.
His fur is really coming back in now too. Has his weight improved?

He does look to be filling out to me but I wasnt sure is that was coz of his fur growing back in, which he looks good in;)
I would have thought they would have mentioned it if it was still a concern.

Sorry, what was wrong with Fabes, glad to hear he's doing better.

Fabes has hypercalcaemia and now acute kidney failure, he was given max 6 weeks about 11 or so weeks ago but my lad fights on.;) Re the fur I had him shaved down end of November last year and it only started growing again about 2 months ago.
