I may be on telly I was asked to "excuse me" I was looking at "alpines" she then said "Thinking of buying" and I said maybe just doing a reccy first" then realised who she was.............. Carol Klien.....(the lady with the crazy hair colours on gardeners world she had platinum blonde today and a nice suit.:smt003 Talking about delphiniums I think, so I could be on the telly, but maybe not.

Saw John Craven from Country file. :-D Not allowed to take pictures when they are filming they "flashes from the camera's disrupt the filming.

Saw elephants, hippo's, giraffe, everything today as these pictures show.

Looks like a brilliant day there! I've been to a couple of Chelsea Flower Shows and I too came away with (almost) free plants. We got a grass from Darmuid Gavin's garden . . . sadly it passed away at the end of last summer

Your parents must be quite resillient as these places require quite a lot of walking . . . well done to them!

I'm going to the BBC Good Food Show which is next door tomorrow. The ticket covers both so if I get time I'll definetly go for a peek :-)

Yola they are not resiliant however finding them somewhere to sit and enjoy the music - Yes!!!!! a live Jazz band playing today, in the one bandstand, a couple of cups of twinning tea. And sarnies "brought from home" then a taste of Brum, they had the curry option.:-D It works well a bit of a stroll then somewhere to sit again this time a steel band. Works wonders in between I shoot off and look around.

What a nice day's outing for you and your folks! Glad the weather cooperated. this is the sort of thing we remember in January when the cold is bitter and it seems as if Summer will never come! Good luck picking up some interesting plants......
