View Full Version : A Name
I am struggling with a name for my new kitten so with a very clever suggestion from Mag's :bighug: im going to try n put a poll up so you can all vote for your fav name.
What ever name wins will be used, If I put this poll on wrong im sorry

Here's another suggestion:
You could name the kitten Fluffy (if I'm looking at the right kitten it looks very fluffy - long haired probably)
I've not voted.

What a cutie - how old is she (why do I assume she's a she?) and how long have you had her?
I had my Merlin for quite a time before he actually got his "full time" name. He sort of told me what it should be himself. He came from someone else who had called him "Brockley".
(Sorry - just found the "My New Baby" thread, which explained my questions above - duh.......)

Thanks Jem :D I voted for Lila because I think it's a really pretty girlie name and she looks girlie :D
However Truffle rather than Truffles is also quite a nice name!

It's not in the poll nor Peanuts related, but I came across a cat name in a magazine I was reading and quite liked it: Tiggles!!
Is she a long haired tabby? or a torte I can't quite see from the picture....and need to know for a name choice.
her mum is a bengal x so she seems to be a very fluffy tortie with the tabby marks if that makes sense? x

Jem, I can't make it out too well from the pic, but if she has tabby markings on face, legs, tummy, tail, and a tortie coat, then she's a torbie: tabby-tortie! They're also known sometimes as patched tabbies.....

... is that the same as "calico"???
Well in my opinion tortie/Calico cats are usually dainty, feminine - real ladies in fact.
And due to the mix up of colours how about these names...not Charlie Brown related though. Soz
Pastiche - simply because she is colourwise :)
Jumble - Same reason :)
But of those you have I like Truffle. :)

Oh, those are good names, Kazz! But I still like Tiggles.......
Had a bit of a problem with the name lila sounds a lot like shila so it may cause a bit of confusion lol x
Yes, you're right there Jem.
I think therefore that Truffle is a lovely name :D As sweet as a box of chocolates ;)
I like the name truffles. It sounds so sweet, and cute.
Like marbles though but thought if you had too ask anybody have you seen marbles by saying "Ive lost my marbles" you might get funny looks.
jane
well she is a bit of a demon apparently so i thought of Loki even though its a male name, this is so much hard work lol x

I like people's names for pets but find they work better on boys. Truffles is cute and not too embarassing when they call it out at the vets ;-)
