Lovely baskets! And the little acer is looking good, but the garden pest is my fave, bless her! Does she have her own catnip patch to lie on/on?

No she doesn't Eileen, I'll have to get some and try her on it ........though I think she prefers my plants!

I am a firm believer that every cat should have his/her very own catnip patch! And it re seeds itself like mad so you never need to buy any more :D...I have volunteer seedlings all over the back yard, most of them in the new vegetable patch !:D

And good luck at keeping Madam off the basets I never managed it, but I did try this is the first year I have not had to Cleo proof the baskets before they are hung, and I miss it.

Mags

Yes Moli I did........do I need to feed it as well?

I put a fleece on it from October until late March..

You should not feed it for about 4 weeks if you have top dressed it Mags....mine was in the greenhouse all winter...but twice the glass was smashed with the wind...its growing well now, but not as big as yours or Kazz's...

I think you two are spoiling your Acers mine will start getting jealous and moving on out.....I stick mine in soil and if in a pot make sure it has enough water on hot days....thats it.....no food no fleece, just a change of the compost on the top every now and again.......:(

I wouldn't like to risk it in the frost Kazz .......mine is in a big pot and the fleece comes right down over the pot just incase the roots freeze :?
