again! slowly but surely I'm getting the excess weight off my girlie :D she now weighs 5.5kg, from being 5.7kg at the beginning of April.
It's a long road but we're getting there

All I'm doing is feeding her the Royal Canin Obesity prescription diet, she has 50g of this per day and nothing else at all. She's naturally playing more now but I try to encourage her to play with her toys too :)

Amber,
Just wanted to ask how you find the RCW obesity? We tend to use r/d but I've had a few clients asking about obesity (I run our weight clinics ;) ) Don't have any experience of it though.

I really wish that some of the extra weight your kitties don't need could be transferred to Merlin - he could really do with a little bit extra!
Really a bit like people. I could do with giving my excess to someone else. What a shame we can't do it that way!

personally I love the stuff but then can't compare it to hills because as a practice we use RCW  generally though we have good success with both dogs and cats although as you probably know there's always the odd awquard one  their helpline is very good too :)
