Here's several pics of my new baby olive tree in its sunny spot. Full sunshine all day + reflected heat from the front of the house. About 10 minutes after I took these pics the heavens opened and we had a massive storm . . . sun remained shining throughout

Also a couple of other pics of my relatively newly-laid lawn which is doing great and some evergreen shrubs and perrenials that I've planted recently:

Wow an olive tree what a good idea Y^ola, I am looking to put something in the front and you may have given me an idea. It looks great, what kind of olives will they be?

Looks really lovely Yola - thanks for sharing your photos with us. I love that little olive tree - hope it thrives in its sunny spot. Will you move it inside for the winter?

I love your front garden! That little olive tree is charming; makes me want one! They don't bear fruit outside of a Mediterranean-type climate, do they? Thanks for sharing those pics, I always enjoy seeing other peoples houses and gardens.....

BC - no idea what kind of olives . . . doh, sorry!

Angie - I intend to put some hessian around it - we really struggled moving the pot so I suspect it will stay put. Funny thing is, in Italy olive trees will survive frosts and although I don't intend to test it here I will keep it outdoors but under cover.

Eileen - It gets very, very hot out there so if we have prolonged heat and sunshine I'm hoping for fruit . . . watch this space :D !

Ah-ha - so you noticed my 2 little weeds on the lawn then ;)
