Betula is in love!

I was thinking maybe a kitten in the future isnt a great idea due to Betz' violent and vocal outbursts :cat13 at my window when a cat is too close outside, however there is a tom cat... when she escaped :roll: i found her in a garden with him looking very relaxed :shock: i was expecting her to get into fights... now he followed me home today and the postman had been so the letterbox at the bottom of the door was open and she had clear hearts in her eyes when sniffing noses with him throught the letter box... is it because he is a tom cat? She went mad at the window the other day at a different tom :cat4

That's kinda cute in a way..I would love to see that on video! Too funny! I would wait just a tad bit more before getting another kitten. She'll be fine with another little fur baby! Maybe she needs a partner..after all you have 2 bunnies and 1 cat..she needs a partner and crime. :lol:

Oh if we do get another cat it wont be for a little while, i dont have any money!!! But its something to think about, i dont want to upset her either way, if i get a kitten and it all went wrong that would be awful. I was thinking if i did id get a girl so shes abit more gentle play wise with Betz but seems she likes boys ;)

In my experience, which granted is a bit limited, I think a female cat does accept a tom kitten better....

And I was intrigued by your description of her "violent and vocal outbursts" at seeing another cat on her territory. That is exactly the way my Leia has always reacted...and I have just recently been told that she appears to be part Bengal....
Is that characteristic?

It could well be they are abit more 'passionate' :lol: about their feelings! She growls and smacks her paw on the window :shock: goodness knows what she'd do out there!! I had to get her in out of the run i have outside because she flew at another cat through the bars, shes quite a madam! She just seems to like this one tom cat. Can i see a pic of your cat? I love pics!! :D

Thanks! Don't tempt me, I think I tend to post too many pics of Leia, but she's very photogenic and the camera loves her. Here's one from last night with the"blue eye" reflection; I never knew that was a Bengal trait....
