My cat is almost 18 and unfortunatly got outside after our lawn had been fertalized and moss killed. He's been vomiting for 2 days and is not taking in very much water and has not eaten at all. I was wondering if anyone knew a good anti nausea for cats while we're waiting for the toxins to get out of his system?? anyone have any ideas??

I'd get him into the vets asap.

I agree with Elaine, he needs to see the vet as soon as possible...

I agree with Elaine, your vet will know best how to treat him as he may need urgent treatment if he has ingested fertilizer :(

Please let us know how he gets on..

Welcome to Catsey, btw!

If he's been vomiting for 48 hours and not taking in any food or water, he needs to have i/v fluids as he'll be dehydrated. At his age too, he needs support for his kidney function.
Please let us know how he does.

<FONT face=Arial>FERTILIZERS:<FONT size=2> Make sure your pets do not go on lawns or in gardens treated with fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides until the time listed on the label by the manufacturer. If you are uncertain about the usage of any product, contact the manufacturer for clarification before using it. Always store pesticides, fertilizers, and herbicides in areas that are inaccessible to your pets.

Sorry to be rude but this doesnt quite add up, your first post asking for advice and help was made at 7.44pm. At 8.47pm he has been to the vets, had fluids etc, slept for an hour or so and ate some food???? Either I am missing something or have fell into a time warp.
