Taki's weight

hello i was just wondering what you all think of taki's weight she weighs in at 9lb
there are pictures of her in the picture section of this site.

She's a beautiful cat, Nikki, and doesn't look too heavy at all to me! But then, my Leia weighs 14 pounds.....she's not fat, just a big cat!

I wouldn't have said that Taki looked overweight. Has your vet raised the issue with you or do you just think that 9lbs sounds a lot for her??? More importantly, IMO, does she behave like a happy healthy cat and, as she is quite young, is she fairly active?

no havnt been to vets yeah she is happy but she sleeps most the day lol but most cats do.thanks for your help

aww. she's gorgeous! My B&W boy Cooper weighs 12 lbs and is certainly not fat, he is a big sleek cat!

If Taki is 9lb, that's just over 4kg-a fairly average weight for a domestic cat. She's very beautiful by the way!
