How old is she? Has your vet said anything about her weight..normal, too plump, etc? She may be trying to train you !

Please don't be offended but is the worming syrup you use from a vet or a pet-shop? The reason I ask is that the pet-shop treatments are generally not as effective as those available at the vets, and so the worms are not fully dealt with.

I agree with Mrs H. The vet could also advise re appropriate dosage for kitten of her age etc. - some tablets deal with more than one sort of worm!!! Good luck - let us know how kitty gets on.

ok, so yeh it was syrup from pets at hom? not good?? they are due to go to the vets a week on monday for their check up and first vacc. they had some poached chicken last night then some wet food about 10.30pm, they went fast asleep! my boyfriend got home at 2am, said they were meowing and fed them again!!!! i got up this morning to a little pile of sick and a lot of poos had ben done in the tray! obviously this is partly because they got too much food, but anything else that could cause this? the one that was meowin so much for food doesnt look like she has a round tummy and she plays as normal, i dont know what to do i feel so bad :( i just want her to be ok!!

Is there any way you could take her to the vet for her check up a bit earlier? Just over a week to go a small kitten with worms may be too long. Give the vet a ring, I would.

It wormed i guess but normal medication should help remove it.

My cats are 10 and 2 years old - everytime I set foot in the kitchen they meow for food even when they have just had a meal. I think it is almost an automatic reaction - human - kitchen - food.

I don't think there is anything necessarily wrong with your kitten just doing what they do best and begging for food even when their tummies touch the ground:lol:

thats very true, they associate anytime we go into the kitchento us feeding them. at least they have been wormed as well now so it maybe just 2 greedy little kittens!!
