We have used one for several years for the odd occasions when we are away for a week-end and neitehr my son or daughter are around. I have found them to be really good. I always leave plenty of water and kibble too.

I got one from seapets but they also sell them at zooplus. I found them to be very useful.

I use them when I go away for a night or wkend and find them really useful as the food doesn't dry out because of the cooler block underneath.

I use them if I am going to be home late, or am away for a night, and think they are brilliant. :)

Make sure there is lots of fresh water and dried food too (if they eat dried food) :)

trying it out today while we are out at work, i hope they use it! im sure if they get that hungry they will go to where their food is and see its there. well one of them knows there is food in it she as sitting on it this morning trying to open it!! they dont seem to eat the dried food i leave out, i put a bit of water in for them to make it a bit soggy for them to eat but it never looks like they touch it :S

How old are the kittens?

You could try getting some cat milk formula (Cimicat or Babycat milk), mixing that up and then soaking some kitten biscuits in it. If you give it to them slightly warm that should entice them too. :)

You could try feeding them from it before you set the timer so they get used to feeding from the bowls.
