Oh, I wasn't implying you were: just that a mouse had never occurred to me. I am a great believer in having a backup for necessary things: have a backup little TV, toaster oven, rice cooker, electric frying pan: when things die it's always on the weekend at the absolutely worst time when it's impossible to find a replacement. My rice cooker died about a month ago: off to the bin it went and the replacement came out of storage, plugged in and working in a few minutes! Semper Paratus!!

Moli, I don't even know what "configure a mouse" even means.......
Mine came with the computer and my buddy who set it up for me plugged it in....

Have to say that yes I do have a spare mouse - but only because I got a new keyboard and mouse with my new pc and as the old one still worked, thought I'd hang on to it in case of emergencies! I have the wireless jobbies - much better I think.

I've gone back to the wired one ....... I had to keep changing the batteries all the time with my cordless one!

Yes they do go quite often, but I have the rechargeable batteries, so not too bad!

Mine had to have ordinary batteries, I couldn't use rechargeable ones for some reason:?
