Some cats seem to drool more when they're happy than others do! None of my boys were droolers, Patches was and Leia definitely is. She was sitting on my lap for a while when I came on Catsey; when she left I had a large wet spot on my sweatpants!
Are yours droolers?

No! Apart from his canines most of his teeth are through!

He just walks around with his tongue hanging out, I guess he's just a slobbery baby . . . makes for a pile of washing and ironing though

My old boy used to dribble a lot when he was massaging and having a cuddle. Denis dribbles a little because sometimes he sticks his tongue out when having a cuddle but then when he's done he licks his lips and goes to sleep and the dribbling stops.

Winston would drool if you gave him chin rubs.
Bernie is a big drooler, always leaves a wet patch.
The Diva ofcourse wouldnt dream of being caught drooling.

Non e of my 11 are droolers but Cory is a sucker. He tries to feed of your clothing and leaves a lovely wet patch. I don't mind though I think it is really cute.

I think I read somewhere that sucking is a sign that a kitty has been taken from its mother too early. Not sure if that is correct - perhaps someone else knows the truth of it?

In Cory's case this is definitely true. The whole litter had to be taken away from mum very early for medical reasons and were hand reared. I know one of the other kittens also did it as a young baby but not now so I think Cory is just a baby.
