Beautiful creatures indeed. It's a crying shame that they're so endangered. I hope they manage to succeed in reversing this trend and the species thrives. Good luck with their campaign :D

Their biggest threat is irresponsible cat owners not having their cats neutered and speyed which has resulted in many hybrids.
Such a crying shame, they are absolutely stunning.

I got a shiver watching that cat on the trailer. I will definitely look out to buy this DVD later this year. Wonderful animals.

While going back over this information about the endangered Scottish Wild Cat, I found this link which is interesting. Looks as if they may be able to tell a pure breed SWC from those hybridised with feral moggies after all!

They think the Kellas Cat is a wildcat/domestic hybrid.
