Just finished decorating our bedroom, really pleased with it. One wall is a sage green colour and the others are called soft stone (stone colour with a touch of pink), new carpet was laid yesterday and it feels so nice after having tiled bedroom floor

A before photo I found :-D

Just to give you some idea the bedroom is a fair size and it is a kingsize bed we have.

Thanks!! OH did all of the hardwork, new radiator, new skirting, and painting and then we had the carpet fitted, just need to get new windows for the front and then we will decorate our other bedroom which is going to be similar but blue instead of the green wall.

Thanks Mags, it has worked out well, the walls are not quite as pink as the photos :)

That looks really really nice - a scrumptious bedroom :) I like the circular mirors I have something similar in mind,

Thanks everybody, Kazz the mirrors we got from Next, they are a set, two pairs being the same size and one smaller.

I think one of the biggest changes we have made is having matt paint rather than satin sheen, makes the rooms look far more modern.

Thanks Fran, just makes me want to get moving on the other three rooms that need to be done now (other bedroom, front room and dinning room) :)

It looks lovely, Emma; like the colors. Matte paint is nicer, I agree, and love your chandelier!

That looks really sophisticated Emma. I much prefer matt paint finish too. (See the cats have been banished!)

What are your plans for the other rooms? but have you noticed decorating is a little like painting the forth bridge you start with one room and when you get finished its back to the start again.

lol I know what you mean Kazz, well the bathroom, kitchen, one bedroom have now all be decorated. We need to get new windows for the front of the property first, the second bedroom will be very similar to this one but we have got heavy pine furniture which we will be keeping, front room is a total makeover, new flooring (carpet) one wall needs to be replastered, curtains, new three piece suite, luckily we have already got the TV we want but will be getting a new speaker system. Dining room just needs to be repainted and a new wood floor and then the wallway will just need new flooring and painting.

Then next year we are considering doing a loft conversion and everything will change :)

Angie you know you cannot bannish cats, ;) whenever I got out a paintbrush you could guarantee Oscar would just have to brush against it even if somewhere he never went before or since- or until paint was in the mix again.
