Brilliant!! :-D
I have voted although I adore the name Kipling and has been on a back burner for me for a while now...cat wise I think he suits the name Rudy..or the name Rudy suits him.
Thanks for all your votes and replies so far :D Have to agree with Kazz, that Rudy really does suit him. Maybe because it's rather like Runty and he sooo suits Runty! Only problem is, it might get a little confusing here as one of our Labs is called Ruby :?

Did my vote ... he 's a cupcake :-) so, its Mr Kipling!
Well what did you decide Fran?
Well what did you decide Fran?
I think the poll closes on the 29th Kazz..:)
Well, I loved Dee2uk's suggestion of Reeves and then thought of Jeeves :-D but since he was answering to 'Runty' we felt that Rudy would be more similar than any of the other names, so I think Rudy it is! ;)

I have to agree!! :-D
Oops, posted before I saw your reply Fran.
I think you made a great choice and I'm sure my greyhound Rudy would agree!

Thanks Mags! He is a special little lad :-)
I tell you the more I look at him the more he looks like he will never grow into his ears...:)
Like the name Rudi suits him.
He is absolutely beautiful PK.....
Thanks both! Kazz, he WILL grow into those ears but I am hoping that he doesn't grow into them too much and keeps the lovely 'type' he has now ;)
He is absolutely gorgeous Fran. Definitely worth all the hard work I think ;) .

He's definitely a magic cat! I know you've settled on Rudi and I think it suits him, but my OH just came up with "Spock"!

Spock is sooooo brilliant, I really wish it had been mentioned before as I love it!!! He know's Rudy now though, so I guess it'll stick..Brilliant suggestion from your other half!
Well, we are now thinking that although Rudy knows his name that it might not be a good idea to call it him as Ruby our lab seems to think we are calling her :?
He does sooo suit being called Rudy and up until recently it hadn't been an issue but now the kittens have been integrated with the dogs and are spending quite a bit of time with them it is getting rather confusing. Hubby loved the name Rudy but he thinks now that it's too similar to Ruby....
I like Spock its ideal..........

Yes I love Spock! I do feel guilty changing his name though as he does answer to it but with him stopping here, as time goes on it will get really confusing with a Ruby & a Rudy in the house :? Hubby says I have to start thinking of very different names from names we have as we do have a lot of pets here with names beginning with the letter 'M', he then went on to say, well as I won't be keeping anymore it doesn't really matter  Hmmm think he tripped himself up there!! ;)

See Fran, Martyn is definitely thinking about a Colourpoint kitten he just won't admit it :-D :-D.
I think Spock would suit him. Rudy that is not Martyn  .

You're not thick Angie. We use the talc to help seperate the hairs in a Persians coat. It helps fluffy it up. Hope that clears that up for you ;) .

It is. Clouds and clouds of talc everywhere but the cats smell lovely  . We only use it on certain colours though and we have to have all trace of it out before a show.

Kay, did you realise it is dangerous to inhale talc?

Appears to be :?

I do not use baby talc I buy sterilised talc directly from a specialized seller.
The clouds and clouds was an overstatement as I suffer from asthma and couldn't possiblly cope with it. It is gently rubbed into the roots of the coat and brushed through.
