Nothing; no reply to posters-zilch. The "old dear" wrote a nice letter the other day, apologizing for coming off so rude when we spoke and posted it through the door; she's got all her "cat loving lady" friends keeping an eye out. One of them who lives closeish said she'd seen her...on daytime of new years eve, which is the last time we saw her and another local elderly lady saw her too.
I'm really starting to fall onto considering the bleak side now; according to the local elderly cat loving fraternity Bella [the big eared little ginger and white cat; as known by all] was a regular visitor too them for a scratch behind the ears on their doorstep and a plate of whiskas [no wonder she'd gotten a bit stout lately:roll:] and yet nobodys seen hide nor hair of her since the daytime of new years eve.
-sigh- keep looking on the good side; but i'm really starting to loose hope..something just doesn't feel right, like a gut feeling something bad's happened..that I've never had before when any cats gone walksabouts.

Are there any neighbors you know of that went away for the holidays and aren't back yet...I keep thinking of her being in a shed or garage....

Don't give up, Luke, busloads of "come home safe" vibes coming......

Silly Bella, come home!!

*hugs* Luke, try to stay positive, it's entirely possible she wandered a little outside of her usual area and someone took her in - so might take a little longer for word to get round.

How are the boys doing?

Three weeks today, and nothing. Re-rang all the appropriate people just incase she'd come in and they hadn't yet contacted us; nothing. Posters still up, neighbours alerted still. Everything possible has been done really.
I live in hope, although with every day that passes it does get slightly difficult to remain optimistic of her return.:(

I'm afraid I've joined you, Luke, Onyx hasn't been seen since Wednesday breakfast last week....done everything I could think of, no joy...the not knowing is what hurts. I'm still praying that Bella will come home.......

:( oh heck, still praying for you over here !

Had a female that went on walkabout and she came home after about 3 mths - she mooched in as if nothing had happened, got stuck into some food and then flopped down for a long snooze. During which I treated her for fleas and gave her a damn good brush  I dont have her anymore she passed away in her sleep about 2 yrs later :(

So theres still hope - and with all these vibes, prayers and good wishes, shes just gotta come home NOW !!!!!

Don't ever give up hope Luke. Cats have returned home after a long time in the past. Just keep your eyes peeled at all times when out an about (but I don't need to tell you that do I)?
