Be it for growth, health, anything.

He can probably have small bits of vegetables, turkey, salmon, tuna, ham - just tiny amounts mind you, especially if he's not used to it. Avoid anything with chocolate or cows milk.

And don't bother with catnip treats at this point in his lifer; most kittens don't react to it at all. Wait till he's older. Some cats never react to catnip.
