It never rains but it pours.
Fistly the cats get an overdose of C/M. Then Bluebell gets an abcess, then today we find a lump on the dog. The vet wasn't too worried & thinks it's probably a fatty lump. He couldn't do a FNA as it would hurt. So he said we could just leave it & see what happens or we could remove it. FCR's are very, very prone to cancer so I have said I want it removed & she is booked in for this Thursday. They will send away some of it to test for cancer. Hopefully it will be ok.
Blimey Smudgley, you certainly have had more than your fair share of vets visits lately.....
Hope all goes well for Carli.....
I hope it turns out to be nothing serious Smudgley, you've all been through enough lately...
Hope it turns out to be nothing Smudgley but thats your 3visits sorted. Things come in three's

Doh sorry to hear about Carli :( Hope the results come back harmless. Hopefully that is all the bad luck for you done :)
Fingers crossed for Carli x
Are you paying for your Vets chrissy presents this year? Seriously I hope it's nothing more than a fatty lump.

She's been to the vets & had her lump removed. She is ok, but seems a bit unsettled. :( I'm off to take her temperature now. We should get the results next week some time. Her stitches are due out on Christmas day
Just re-read this & it reads like, we will get the results of her temperature next week! silly me
I'm glad the op is over for Carli, I suppose it's understandable that she's not feeling quite herself after. I hope she'll be feeling her old self again in a couple of days.
Fingers crossed that the results of the lump will be nothing to worry about...

Glad she is ok, what were the Vets thoughts on the lump? I know how worrying "lumps" are on Flat Coats, i hope its nothing serious.
Dawn.

Thanks all.
I'm not sure what the vets thought Dawn, although before they removed it they thought it was just a fatty lump & wanted to leave it & monitor it. But I said no! I wanted it off. I haven't spoke to them since they removed it as I got someone else to collect her from the vets.
