What are you planning to do with it? like, do you want it to be tiny or have big buttons? "normal" or flippy or slidey? Do you want it to have a good camera or aren't you bothered?

I want a new mobile myself so I have no recommendations lol just thought that that would help??

Ooooh Tom got a new phone for his birthday, it is on contract with Orange but I do think you can get it on pay as you go. Trouble is I don't know which one it is  and he's just gone off to work. I'll text him shortly and ask him. It's one of those you shake and it changes the music track, so would only appeal if you were into listening music from your phone I suppose..

I do like Sony, I have at present a Motorola V3X, which has been fine, but the battery life is dissappointing and Ive had it almost 2yrs.

I dont mind flippy phones, must do pics, 3 MP or above, must do downloads etc., pic/video messaging.

I like that one Fran, but I cant find out how much the handset alone is, ill have another look now. Keep the suggestions coming, and Erin, what model is your phone?

I looked at that today in the Carphone warehouse, I really liked it but they said it wasnt available sim free yet. They had a crap selection to be honest, I appreciate your help on here. Great pic!

My sister has had the Samsung G600, i quite like that too.

Lol Kazz, sounds like my old phone, it was affectionately known as 'the brick' :)

I'm a Nokia girl through and through because the interface is so simple - I can't figure out most of the other ones

Thanks for all your suggestions. I had a look at a couple that were mentioned and eventually came away with the Sony Ericsson K800i. It has everything I want on it. I almost had the one Tom has but decided against it as I didnt want the music thingy. the one Erin has was nice too, but a bit pricey and apart from having more pixels in the camera, the difference was negligable. Thanks for you "Sony" reccommendations Im pleased with it up to now.
