Do your cats drink water from their bowl?

Just curious whether peoples cats actually do or not?

Patch doesn't - if there is a bowl of water on the side or you have a glass of water he will drink it but not from his bowl...he drinks from outside too :roll:

No idea about Meow - have never seen her drink either!

Mine have a water fountain that they drink from. When Winston was with us though, he would drink from his bowl, your bowl and any cup or glass that contained milk or water. When he was diagnosed with CRF and after reading about CRF cats being very prone to dehydrate, I used to leave bowls and beakers with water in every room so that he always had access to water, as well as watering down his food a little.

Cassie drinks from her bowl, puddles and the bird bath! :lol:

Sultan used to drink from the little fish pond I had at one time, and also from a dirty puddle!!! The girls and Dandy only from their water bowl.

Mine have a water fountain as well but Abi likes to paddle so I leave a dish out for her with water in it. They both have a wee play in it and sometimes a drink too.

Most of mine just drink from the bowls but a couple will drink water from anywhere.

Mine drink from their fountain, from the dogs bowl and from the garden water feature!

Oli drinks from his bowl, but also loves to drink from a running tap. He gets soaked!!

R n R steal water from the dogs bowl. very occasionally they will drink from their own bowl.

Mine drink quite readily from their bowl but also drink from pots etc. in the garden.

mine like to drink from the tap but i have 5 other bowls around the house to choose from:)
