Fish - your favourite and which way.

What is your favourite fish, and what way do you prefer it to be cooked. :-D

Smoked mackeral, and I like to put in pasta with capers and vinigrette dressing, or a little olive oil and lemon juice.

A dead heat between swordfish steak and trout. Simply a plain broiled trout, nothing at all added to it, just the sweet trout flesh. Swordfish steak: broiled with a few curls of butter, sprinkling of paprika, parsley and freshly ground pepper...ambrosial!!! That's dinner tomorrow! What's your favorite, Kazz?

I adore really adore Lemon Sole...steamed with a little lemon.
But one of myfavourite fish is nicely cooked Cod I do not think you can beat it.

However I am planning on eating more fish and fancy some idea's. I am planning on trying Dover Sole and I have never tried Tuna.....but like the sound of your swordfish.

Not keen on trout.

Do you have rockfish (sea bass) or bluefish there, or are they only off our coasts? Both are delicious simply steamed or broiled....

Sea bass. Stuffed with herbs, lemon and butter and baked in the oven until it falls of the bone.

Cod in batter from the chip shop is the only fish I would eat!!!

Almost any fish (though not all shellfish) cooked any way.
Love all the white fish, skate (with black butter & capers? mmm), smoked mackerel, fresh tuna, swordfish, bass, sole, trout, mullet .... you name it I'll eat it.
If the fish is good & fresh, simple grilling with a spot of butter/oliveoil, grind of pepper and tiny sprinkle of chopped parsley is as good a food as you wil get, anywhere. Mmm, bon appetit! :)

I also like salmon with a knob of butter baked in the oven...

I cant stand fish. I used to eat it when i was about 4 until i had my tonsils out. I havent had it since.

Technically lobster is a crustacean, not a fish, but it's hard to beat a broiled rock lobster tail with drawn butter......

I love most fish, disliked skate intensly but love smoked mackeral, rainbow trout, salmon, cod, swordfish, tuna, cooked either simply or cordon bleu . . .

But my favourite fish has to be herrings in onion and dill marinade and also sushi . . . any sushi as long as it's not got sesame around it. :D
