Just thought you may be interestde in seeing my new foster mum and kittens. Tinkerbell and her 6 babies, however as she does not look like a Tinkerbell in the slightest, she is known as Belle while she is with me:lol: . The kittens are 4 and a half weeks old, not sure of all of their sexes yet so no names as yet:roll: . Some of them have sticky eyes so being treated for that, but apart from that all healthy and playful.

And no, that is not my new carpet lol:lol: . To save my carpet I went to the local poundshop and bought a few large wipe clean tablecloths which make great floor coverings, if a little bright:lol:

Thank you all! I cant get over how small these ones are compared to my last lot, but I suppose its because there are more of them. I finished worming them today too, what a fun job that was lol!! I will take some more pics once their eyes have cleared up.

I think they're used for a lot of small animals, including rats and hamsters, the stuff usually works very quickly!

Fucithalmic are great drops! have sorted Fifi's eyes on numerous occasions!

Alex, so please this little family has a safe haven with you. The babies are darlings and I'm sure they'll find new homes very soon.

Is Mum a feral or a pet?

Her story is as follows. She belonged to a lad who went to stay with his girlfriend and her family, they split up and he took off leaving the cat behind. They had never had a cat before so had no idea she was pregnant. A couple of weeks after he left she had 7 kittens (one died) and they phoned us. So came to us when they were 2 days old. The family she came from are hoping that they may be able to take Belle back.

Sexed the kittens today and I think I got it right lol, time will tell. As far as I could see there are 5 boys and 1 girl and have been named as follows ;

White girl - Icicle (oh and the kids picked the names lol)
White boy - Iggy (short for Igloo!!!)

Tabby boys - Ian, Isaac, Ivor and Idge!!!

Also good news on the eye front, none of their eyes have stuck shut today so the eye drops are definitely working.

Alex - have you/anybody checked the hearing of the white kittens? If they are deaf (and there is a link between white coat/blue eyes and deafness, though it doesn't always follow) it would be good to know sooner rather than later.

I han't thought of checking their hearing DM but I will try some simple tests later to see if they respond to noise. Thanks for that.

Very bad Smudgley lol.
And thank you Jac, the carpet is growing on me lol, they are all doing really well now, becoming very playful.
