Do cats miss us when we leave to go to town or on a trip? My cat meows at me when I return home. Is that his way of saying I missed you, I'm glad you are back? Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. :cat19

I think they do. If I go out in the evening Denis is sat on the window ledge when I come home. (as though he knows) he runs to the door each time I come in and we greet each other with cuddles, kisses and tummy rubs and he does the same when he has been out he has to re-group when he comes in again. So I think he has missed me

Yeah I think so , Jerry REALLY told me off when I went out the one night,i had to put up with him folllowing me round meowing at me for ages :lol:

They're saying "Yay..you're home, food please?" :lol: haha I'm joking.

I think they do - Patch is always waiting when we come home from somewhere.

I would say they definitely do. Leila, Cory, Angel, Shannon, Jilly, Ruby and Tate all greet me, Phoebe is so aloof that she just looks at me as if to say 'Oh its you again', Tilly justs rolls over and Kisses jumps on the fish tank and talks to me.
