Sheer coincidence; my Onyx is a girl; a little stray, extremely wary and shy that I've been befriending and feeding . Long story. She's gotten much better, very friendly and affectionate now, might come in but my existing house cat, Leia is dead set against it so far...:roll: :(

I made a mistake. The cat named Onyx on catchannel.com was a girl because, now that you mention it the cat on that site was wearing a pink hat.

No, you are not very original. The Onyx on there that I'm talking about was a black cat and she looked like your Onyx. Does your Onyx have a profile on that site? I made a reply on Onyx's Profile. See If your cats profile has a comment from my cats and my cats names are Simba, Precious (Now Deeased), Misty (Now Deceased).

Jac, the term "rusty" means when black cats get a sort of brownish tinge in their fur,usually from too much sunlight. I was responding to Moli's post about Leo being rusty...here's a link to that post and pic in case you missed it....http://www.catsey.com/showthread.php?t=23595
The brown in his coat shows up much more than Onyx's does.....:D
