We were woken yesterday morning with Ceilidh standing beside the bed in tears. Her hamster cage had been knocked over juring the night and was empty:? :? . There was so much rubbish on the floor, sawdust, food ect. I had a dustpan and brush, Derek followed me with the hoover. He asked who had hamster breath? Asked both Caspurr and Abi but nobody would own up:? . Derek moved all the furnature...no hamster.
Well an hour later we heard a scratching.......dah dah one hamster found guess where? In it's bed!!!!!! in the hamster cage:oops: .
I'm glad to report, no hamster breath in this house and the hamster is fine and well.

Can you do anything to protect the cage, or 'bolt it down' sort of thing?
Trouble is hamsters are so active, and therefore so attractive, in the middle of the night when no-one is awake to protect them ....
