Today the Ragdoll Rehome Group held a fundraising garden party and BBQ, which I went to and it was great fun!! :)

I hope that they raised lots of money. I managed to come home £140 lighter after "winning" some things at their auction :) I've got a couple of lovely framed pictures, a lovely new scratching post/tower, a cat bed and a CatIt water fountain for my dad's cat.

I also seem to have volunteered to foster 4 raggie kittens for the next couple of weeks  Hee hee!!!

The rescue group are really stretched at the moment, as they have just had a very large rescue from a breeder (I'm not sure of the circumstances yet) which has included these 4 kittens, 2 stud boys and 3 breeding queens. The babies all need worming, fleaing, chipping and vaccinating and the adults will all be neutered. They have estimated that this rescue alone will cost them £1,000

As I have said, I don't know the circumstances of this but I'm glad that I can help out. I would like to think that if anything ever happened to me and I could no longer care for my cats that someone like the raggie rehome group would be able to take them.

I was starting to wonder why nobody was reading my thread!!!! lol

They are 5 months old Kazz. I'm not sure yet of their colours or sexes, but will know tomorrow.

Are you still looking for your baby/babies?? ;)

If anyone is interested though, here is a link to the website. The kittens aren't on there yet, but there are some other older cats that need homes. If you can help, please contact Dawn and tell her that Charlie sent you!!! :)

I spoke to Dawn at the Raggie Rehome today and she said that they raised over £2,000 which is fantastic news!!!! More than they raised last year too. :-D :-D :-D

It was also decided that I won't have the kittens :( It's a shame, but as I'm going on holiday in 3 weeks it seemed sensible. They have had upset tummies and are not vaccinated or anything, so I would have to keep them separate from my gang. They need a clean bill of health before going for rehoming, so there's no guarantee that it would have been before I go on holiday and we agreed that it wouldn't be good to have to move them again :(

I've offered to go and collect them still and take them to the other volunteer that's now having them.

Fingers crossed that they all get better tummies soon and find lovely new forever homes.

I think you are being very sensible about the kittens with your holiday not that far away ..... I'm sure you'll get to foster some more one day! ;)
