For 2 beautiful Indian Ringneck Parrakeets.
Dory and Bertie are two young Ringnecks in need of a foster mum/dad due to housing and family issues. These issues can be explain fully via pm or e-mail if you are interested in helping.
It is uncertain how long the foster will be needed but food etc will be provided for the period needed. The owner DOES want them back just as soon as she is settled.
Dory and Bertie are green in colour and have a fantastic personality. They are roughly the size of a cockateil and a little more noisy than a budgie but not excessively so.
Should any one be interested, it is preferable that it would be some one who would not be afraid to handle them regularly in order to keep them socialised. Some one with experience with birds would be great.
Thankyou in advance if you think you may be able to help.

Possibly Jac, I think ideally Ashley would like some where closer to home so that she too can continue contact with them but I will talk to her about the poissibilities as have reached a dead end with some of the hopefulls I had in mind.
Will keep you posted, thanx for the offer. Have you had large birds before Jac? Would you be frightened to handle them?

I worked PT in an aviary years ago. Does a hawk class as a large bird:lol: . We had an eagle as well although I didn't handle that one:?
Derek's sister has a parrot, dont know what kind but it's quite partial to a wee swear:oops:
We have had budgies, finches and cockatiels in the house.

I'd imagine a hawk does class as a large bird:lol:   Well done you for handling one of those, I'd be very nervous of that beak.
These two are young and around the size of a large cockateil.
I'll talk it over with Ashley, she may feel it would be too stressfull to travel the distance with them but will let you know and thanx again for the very kind offer. xxx
