Im only going to put it on her when im in bed or not around to watch Eileen, she HATES it.She has disolvable stitches so the vet said its important she wears it for at least 3 days otherwise she will make the stitches disolve quicker than they should.Ive had to put it on her now because we are popping out in a bit for eds bros bday.Think I may stay in though,I dont want to leave her like this

Misty had dissolvable stitches also, but didn't get a collar; she was a placid laid back cat and didn't bother her stitches....... Dandy had one when he had a neck irritation
and scratched his neck almost raw; then managed to destroy it within 15 minutes of getting back from the vets.... Cats!!

My cats never had collars - Chloe didnt touch her stitch but Misty ate hers - vets said it wasnt a problem as the wound was less than a cm and didnt really need a stitch. He only really does it to stop cat owners ringing saying you have forgotten to stitch!

If she leaves it alone, you could just leave the collar off?
