It totally depends on the individual cat, Jac.
Lily was a really late starter and didn't call until she was more than 14 months old
Some cats can come into call as young as 3/4 months though.
If you're thinking about Abi - I think raggies are reknown to be late developers!!! lol
Yes I am Charlie. Caspurr is still sneezing a bit, other than that he's fine. The Vet wont "do" him untill he's 100%. Although I probably will have a litter with Abi. Not to him. Just wanted to be sure.

Caspurr will probably know when she's coming into call before you do  so just keep a close eye on them. :)
I hope that Caspurr is 100% soon and able to be "done". The last thing you want at home is an entire male anyway ;)
I'm taking Red to the vet tonight for a check up and to see when she'll neuter him.
You can see he's a boy, even though he's only 4 1/2 months. He probably would have been done by now had he not been so ill.
She wants to re vaccinate him first. so were realistically looking at another 6 weeks.

Misty (moggy) had her first heat at 5 months. My other girls had been spayed before I got them.
As Charlie has said, it can vary cat to cat and breed to breed. 4-9 months is the usual for first call.
My vets won't neuter/spay until they are at least 5 months preferably 6 months of ages and again this varies vet practice to vet practice....
If I remember Purrdie was about 6 months. I'll just have to pay attention.
