Me too with having the Labs, maybe I might need two?? The Meezers are quite small and short haired but the labs bigger with a lot of hair loss at moulting??

I have a question here: do "small" and "medium" refer to the width of the combing area or to the depth that it reaches? I had assumed it meant width, but am wondering now due to these questions..,,,

Yes, it's the width Eileen.

I think a small would do for any sized cat and a larger one for dogs.

I have a small and it does for all my cats, big and small, long and short haired ;)

Ooh.... this is interesting! Are these mainly for long/medium haired cats or could they be used on a short haired like Cassie (who sheds a lot & is prone to hairballs!)?

Just reviving the thread lol.

We have a furminator for our Husky and the cat loves it so we brought a small one today from jolleyes pet superstore.

Meeko loves it, he pretends he doesn't but the purring tells me he likes it lol, Tinkerbell was scared as she hasn't been brushed much before but she realised it was nice and stood still for a few minutes. Meekos fur looks so much nicer, he has always had really awful fur and when you stroke him you litereally take clumps of fur off him without pulling, just by running your hand across his back.
Hopefully this will do wonders for him.

Mags
