WOW that is brilliant
thankyou mabel it is very good :)
If that's it after 3 mins he'll be bald after 10 Erin:lol:
 @ Jac!!!!
I really must invest in one of those ;)
Me too. Need to wait a wee while. Spent too much on them yesterday.
I have to admit I havnt brushed him the last week Jac  thats why there is so much, but he does moult so badly, this is the best thing I have ever spent my money on for the animals its great.Ill prob comb him with it twice a week, dont think ill need to do any more than that looking at how much it got out today.
I tried it on the dogs too,its brilliant, but they wouldnt sit still so i need ed here to hold them when i do them
I will be getting one. Looks great, easpecially with my furballs.
I wont tell you how much I spent on them yesterday:oops: I'm going to barr myself from P@H.
LOL Jac its easily done isnt it,I cant go into town without coming back with at least a toy each for them, including the dogs.Ed goes mad,our house is full of animal toys
My next purchase will be a couple of the water fountains, dont tell ed though,I told him the Furminatior is all I need for a while

I got the small for Leia and Onyx. I'll let you know when it comes Friday what I think.........
Think I would be best with a medium too then, Leo and Merlin have very thick dense coats...

Yeah sounds like you would need a medium. We used it on the dogs today and it fetched loads out them too.It really is the best thing I brought since having any of the animal

Me too with having the Labs, maybe I might need two?? The Meezers are quite small and short haired but the labs bigger with a lot of hair loss at moulting??
Fran i would prnb get a large for the dogs and a small/medium for the cats

I have a question here: do "small" and "medium" refer to the width of the combing area or to the depth that it reaches? I had assumed it meant width, but am wondering now due to these questions..,,,

Yes, it's the width Eileen.
I think a small would do for any sized cat and a larger one for dogs.
I have a small and it does for all my cats, big and small, long and short haired ;)

Ooh.... this is interesting! Are these mainly for long/medium haired cats or could they be used on a short haired like Cassie (who sheds a lot & is prone to hairballs!)?

Just reviving the thread lol.
We have a furminator for our Husky and the cat loves it so we brought a small one today from jolleyes pet superstore.
Meeko loves it, he pretends he doesn't but the purring tells me he likes it lol, Tinkerbell was scared as she hasn't been brushed much before but she realised it was nice and stood still for a few minutes. Meekos fur looks so much nicer, he has always had really awful fur and when you stroke him you litereally take clumps of fur off him without pulling, just by running your hand across his back.
Hopefully this will do wonders for him.
Glad you like the furminator Charlilou, several members here have them and we've had nothing but good reports.:D Most cats love being groomed with them...:D
