I lost my girl 2 months ago too an evil car, she was only 7 months old :( I wrote this 1 week after the angels decided too take her from me....

Shaska’s Poem

The angels sat around that day
Deciding which other angel would join them today
They knew it would be a hard choice to make
Because for two not one, there would be heartache

So they began their search for the chosen one
The one that would join them, earth stars and sun
Then all of a sudden, one angel saw a glow
We have found our special angel, Let it be so

The angels gathered around, forming warmth and love
To greet this special one, who will join them above
We will take her soft and swift, gentle with us
The special one is feisty, she made such a fuss

For the special one didn’t want to leave her home
She didn’t understand, she felt sad and alone
But quickly the angels made her feel safe and free
However special one, didn’t forget Me

She asked the angels “What about my family below”?
They comforted her and replied “This is not the end, no no”!
“You will still walk with your family little one”
“For we have recruited angels like you, since time begun”

The special bond that you all have shared
Will be stronger now, not all that you feared
Now my little angel, you will live on forever
For all of us will b angels one day, always loved and together

So is not goodbye my Shaska, tis see you around
Everyday I will kiss you, and you will continue to frown
When I think of you, you are right by my side
When I smile about you, I will forget I cried

Come visit me soon, I will be looking
And right here waiting too is your brother Wookie
Don’t leave it too long, for I know u want a kiss
A special kiss for a special one, I thank the lord for this.

I love you My Special one, 'till we meet again :)

Aww that's lovely, right from the heart. I'm so sorry you lost your baby at such a young age. It's never easy but when they are young it feels so unfair.

Thankyou so very much Jac. Indeed it is hard when they are so young...I live by a busy road...my 2 older boys always seemed fine outdoors...I regret I was too blame, for being ignorant about the road, hence my other 4 are indoors now, I could not bare too feel that way again. Thankyou very much for your kind words, Jac:)

Thankyou very much alexgirl73, means alot..she never caught her first mouse...or seen her first xmas....but I know she is still with me, I choose too believe so, and I know I will be with her again, Thankyou muchly :)

I am sobbing my eyes out at that,
I know you posted that a long time ago, but I lost my Baby Boy only yesterday. 9 months old, killed by a car outside my house.
I just hope he is with me now and not lonely or upset. I couldnt take it if he was not happy.

Hello there Emsie. I am so sorry for your loss. Yes it has been about 2 years now since I lost my special one. I can't tell you the pain and loss will ever fade completely, but I CAN tell you as each minute passes, as each hour unfolds, and as each new day begins, the good times will come to your mind more quickly and the utter sadness you feel now, shall fall behind those happy memories that you and your special baby boy, shared so many of. I know it does not seem like it now Emsie, but hang in there, time truely does heal, and your baby boy I can assure you, is well, safe and watching over you, waiting for you to smile once again. I hope these humble words help you in a small way, I know my Shaska is happy, probably playing with your baby boy! Bless you and go well, Emsie.

My heart aches for your loss. I believe that your little one will always be there. Here is a short verse I wrote after losing our greatly loved Dunkley:

"As daylight fades and colours leach away

the spaces all around us fill with night ...

we hesitate to close the blinds lest we lose the last of day

but human eyes are blind to the world of feral sight

yes, some may glimpse a shadow move across the gloom,

but they cannot see what I can see.

an angel in the room ....."

A lovely tribute, James to a much loved and missed cat. It is so hard, isn't it?
