Its a mistle thrush Mags, she was collecting worms for her babys....took that through a window, surprised how well it has come out.

She is inthe garden early every morning chirping away, thats how I know she is there.....

I used to see many thrushes at one time and now I'm sad to think that that is one of our disappearing birds.. :(

It;s very sad; the same here. I don't know if it's global warming, destruction of environment or a combination of things, but birds that were common when I was a child are rarely seen now...I can't remember when I last saw a wood thrush!

We still have a fair collection up here, Living in the country you do tend to see more birds, a lot of them are feeding young, so do not see them as often, the goldfinches have disappeared for a while...
