Dawn got a call when I was there, telling of a mum and 3 kittens that had appeared in some ones shed. They said the kittend were 2 weeks old.
We went round with a trap and a carrier. This was no shed it was a childs wendy house. The mum was terrified and the kittens looked huge, certainly not 2 weeks. We set one trap and headed off to borrow another from some one near by. Went back and set that one. Dawn left her number with the woman, who thought cats were vermin by the way. We got a call about 10.30 pm and went back to find the mum and one huge kitten in the trap. We then had to squeeze into the wendy house and find the other 2 kittens. Got them pretty quickly and put them into the carrier.
Mum cat is still a little scared but is not feral.

They are beautiful, the sadest part is trying to find good homes for them all.

Look at those little ginger angels!!! If I didn't live in the centre of town and could have out door cats, I would be sorely tempted by those two little redheads :-D

Those two kittens are adorable I wouldnt think they will have too much trouble finding new homes with little faces like that.

Some sad news about the kittens, just spoke to Dawn, she had mum and kittens in the vets this week. Mum has a flea allergy and is being treated, other than that she is fine. Kittens are around 8 weeks but are very unstable on their hind legs. Looks like they may have had a sort of meningitis infection which has left them like this or its a congenital condition.
Despite this Dawn says they are still lively little things.

Yup:(
I think thats what must be the the hardest thing with rescues, they see ALL the tradgedies and sad cases daily.

The kittens have been collectively known as the "wobbly's" bless them. The tortie kitten has found her forever home and will be moving on August 13th to her new home.
The sad news is the mother must have already been pregnant again when we trapped her and is due any day now.
