Is the water supposed to come out the top and run down the sides???

DM....It runs on the mains....

yes Moli! If it isn't running sown the sides properly, run your hand over it a few times and then it should sort itself out!

My 3 love theirs now. Took Broxi and Teddie a few days to get the hang of it, and Cooper thought it was a toy for the first 1/2 hour lol, splashing it everywhere, but he was the first to realise what he was meant to do with it!

They are fantastic inventions. My cats love ours and it saves having dirty bowls with bits in their water and having to change them all the time. I wouldnt mind investing in the bowl for the bottom though as ours hasnt got one either.

The kittens are the funniest as they go and sniff to investigate and end up with a face full of water and sneezing bless them

I have seen them for about £15 at shows now.

Gutted, as when I got mine it was about £30

Yes, the food bowl it detachable - and personally I remove it, as they only get water in the food and make their biscuits soggy!!

I haven't seen an additional reservoir - can you get one?!?????? :?

There's one on the link Moli has posted. A couple of items above the water fountain itself? Is it not for this fountain??

No, that's for the Drinkwell fountain - a different brand!!!

My lot all use the one fountain and it's sufficient.

If you wanted more, I think it would be cheaper to get two of the Cat-It Fountains (this one) rather than the Drinkwell one and the additional reservoir.

Ah, thanks for that Charlie, I'd have most likely bought the reservoir and spent hours trying to figure out why it didn't fit

Onyx the outside cat just has a small bowl, and is forever knocking it over!!!

Jac
27-06-2007, 08:05 PM
Could you get a battery operated one Eileen?

dandysmom
27-06-2007, 08:15 PM
You mean for Onyx? Jac, she eats and drinks right by the sidewalk: some light-fingered person could pick it up in an instant! Remember my grumbling last year when someone stole a potted rosemary plant right out of the driveway, and a flag off the porch of my policeman neighbor??!!!

Jac
27-06-2007, 08:18 PM
Yeh I had for gotten about that Eileen. I was thinking for her in the garden, it would save her knocking it over. Shame it wouldn't work.

dandysmom
27-06-2007, 08:46 PM
Actually, that's a good idea, Jac! She won't eat anywhere else but that spot by the wall, but she might drink if it were up by the house in the front garden!! Will do a Google, thanks!!
