Yuck yuck yuck! :smt078 I got home from work this afternoon and I could really smell poo of some kind. Couldn't quite work out if it was dogs or cats at first, but Max had only been in the kitchen and there was nothing there so came to the conclusion that it must be cats.

Searched the whole house, in corners and under tables - couldn't find anything. I stopped smelling it after a while probably because I got used to it so thought nothing more of it. Well I just went to change Amber's bed over to wash her other one and there was a huuuuge smelly poo right in the middle of her bed  bad bad girl! She's rolling around in the middle of the floor like she's so proud of herself!

Maybe she is letting you know who is boss, if cats dont cover their poo they are showing they have the dominant scent and are 'top dog' or in this case 'top cat'. could be a reaction to the dog.

Andrew - it could be like you say, only thing is the dog has been here nearly a year now - she did this a few times when we first got him but nothing since, definately something to consider though!
