That rose is a stunning colour.......does it have a scent to it?

Yes, it does Most of the Austin roses do. That's what I don't care for in the modern hybrid teas....they are absolutely stunning, but lack fragrance, as well as being high maintenece and picky!

It's the observation of the day in 1877 when the Stars and Stripes was formally pronounced by the Congress as the official flag of the United States! We're kind of big on the flag here as the symbol of our country. The National Anthem is about the flag still flying over Ft. McHenry during the, shall we say. unpleasantness between our countries in 1812! "Oh. say, can you see, by the dawn's early light"....
