View Full Version : Balie regaining his 'patch'
Well, here's Balie making the garden his own again! Since Darcy's death Balie's become increasingly confident - and here's him lounging in the garden this afternoon relishing the peace and quite of a no-kids day :-D
Hmmmm . . . . this is comfortable

What gorgeous pictures he looks fully relaxed.

Thanks Sally :-D ! Being a very, very nervous cat, it's rare that he relaxes and this afternoon he really did!
Kids are back now so he's a little more on his guard, but still surprisingly mellow :D

Fantastic pics Yola - I love the last one!!! :)
Strange isn't it? You wouldn't think 3 cats were much more trouble than 2, but Fifi and Balie have been washed and brushed more like they were before we had the kids of late. I used to brush them every day; now it's about every 3 days rather than every three weeks
Possibly I'm over-compensating, but the two of them are just NO trouble since darling Darcy left, and I can now leave them in the garden all day without worrying they will even step outside the boundary - they just crash in the borders and kip.

Despite his abundant fur and lack of stripes, I thought there was something very Bagpuss-esque in Balie in those pictures Yola. Great timing on the yawn! :)
You are SO right there DM!!! LOL - he is my saggy old cloth cat :D and getting more so as the years roll by . . . I can't believe I've had him for 10 years this month
I was on my exercise mat this morning running through my tape and he was lying belly-up next to me doing sit ups too LOL!!!
