Licking the babies faces

Can I just ask if this is normal or not please.

Over the lat week Jerry has started licking the Kittens faces,I fist thought he was doing it because they had just eaten but I watched him yesterday and he was doing it at every chance he got if they had just eaten or not.
And its only their faces,no where else :?

I would have said thats a good sign that Jerry has accepted the two little babes. I wouldnt think it would be anything to worry about. xxx

Guinness also does it to simon and kay he washes there faces and lets kay paddle on him as well

My two do this to each other sometimes too - trouble is it usually eventually ends up in a scrap! :shock:

I think he's just showing paternal interest in the wee ones: I've never had a mum cat with kittens...do they wash their babies faces as well as bums?

awww bless, Arthur will clean the top of Bronwyn's head and then she usually bats him !!!! lol
