Okay I have to ask this question why are Siamese and Oriental cats called Meezers?

Karen, I think it's because they're SiaMESE. hence meezers...
Yes Eileen is right, it's just a play on the end of the word Siamese. Orientals are sometimes called Ori's ;)

I have had siamese for the past 20 years, and never heard them called Meezers till now!
So following that Moggies are or could be called Oggies...as in Oggie Oggie Oggie Oi Oi Oi.....:)

I'd never heard that name for them before I joined Catsey. But it's cute!
